Director, Business Development role at Coates Group. We work in over 50 global markets and have 9 offices around the world, with a global headquarters in Sydney, Australia. Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve growth and revenue targets. Identify target markets and industries, and build a pipeline of potential clients. Pursue new business opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and target markets. Drive execution from ideation to close; lead internal and external engagements to secure new business. Support sales leadership on complex, non-standard, or multi-party enterprise deals. Collaborate with legal, finance, and product teams to structure and negotiate custom deals. Represent the company in senior-level external discussions with prospects and partners. Work with marketing, product, finance, and legal to launch new initiatives or offerings. Prepare proposals, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business deals. Provide market feedback to product and GTM teams to inform roadmap and messaging. Lead internal working groups or task forces when alignment across teams is required. Continuously research market trends, emerging opportunities, and competitor strategies; prepare actionable insights for the leadership team. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Proven track record of successful business development and sales. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong understanding of hardware and software product ecosystems. Experience in contract negotiations and closing high-value opportunities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with CRM software and sales processes. Proven experience in Sales or Account Management roles. Previous experience in the Signage, Shop fitting or Construction industries is desirable. Estimating experience is a nice-to-have. Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving ability. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Strong negotiation skills. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Compensation

$100,000 - $120,000 a year Plus commission: target OTE $140,000-$160,000 About Coates
