Conduct internal information technology audits and rigorous control self-testing to ensure controls are designed adequately and operating effectively to mitigate IT and security risks within approved policies, procedures, standards and risk limits. Audit and assess that controls and processes are in place to manage IT risks in line with business priorities. Serve as a subject matter expert on IT policy, standards and framework; bridge gaps between control requirements, technical issues, and business risks. Research changes in IT governance and external risk compliance landscape; embed IT risk practices across the enterprise. Define system criticality and data sensitivity; construct corrective action plans for control weaknesses and guide prevention of recurrence. Deliver KPIs on audit issue and control weakness closure; test remediation action plans and enhance control routines. Engage with Enterprise Security Office for security-related control testing and remediation as warranted. Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders; integrate business strategy into decision making; mentor less experienced staff. Identify opportunities to improve and create implementation plans approved by senior leadership; prioritize work based on business drivers. Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing; understand IT strategy and processes in their area; discuss complex topics and capture requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Certification Required 8+ years of technical audit and/or governance experience with knowledge of IT governance, quality assurance, and/or information security risk assessment. Demonstrated audit experience assessing IT, cloud security and related compliance and control measures. Knowledge of SOX, COBIT, NIST, ISO, and related standards. Preferred CCSP and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals & Solution Architect certifications. Strong knowledge of ITIL and Service Management principles; experience with security architectures and environments. Excellent communication and program management skills. Ability to align solutions with IT strategy and standards; leads small projects; provides Level 3 support as needed. Work Conditions
