The GSR Event, Marketing, and Conference team seeks a senior program manager to lead and transform the global conference strategy, spanning 20+ premier technical conferences. The role aims to strategically engage talent worldwide while elevating Amazon's brand as the employer of choice for technical talent. Technical conferences are a cornerstone of our recruiting strategy and showcase Amazon as a global technology leader. Responsibilities
Define and drive the strategic vision for Specialty Recruiting Conferences, including multi-year planning and scaling strategies. Develop and implement innovative programs to optimize senior Amazonian engagement at conferences, driving measurable improvements in recruiting outcomes. Build and maintain executive-level relationships across business units while managing complex stakeholder requirements. Design and implement comprehensive analytics frameworks to measure program effectiveness and ROI. Present strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on program performance and market insights. Lead and mentor program managers while building best practices and driving operational excellence. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of program or project management experience; experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements; experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of driving process improvements experience; Master’s degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, organizational development, instructional design, or related field. Travel: 20% travel; ability to lead global initiatives across multiple time zones. Location: Seattle, WA (as applicable to postings).
