Job Description We are looking for a dynamic, organized Office Manager to join our Series B-funded high-growth startup. This in-office role reports to the Senior Finance & Accounting Manager with a dotted line to the CEO and will be an integral part of the team and our culture. The successful candidate will manage our office space and the day-to-day operations of the organization, helping to position the company for scale. We are seeking a proactive, positive individual who is excited to establish or improve processes and provide support to a growing team.

Responsibilities

Office and Facilities Management: oversee daily office operations, manage the security desk, mail and package handling, coordinate repairs, supervise renovations, and oversee janitorial services and vendors. Restock kitchen and office supplies. Manage administrative activities for laboratory EHS paperwork.

Event and Marketing Coordination: organize internal events, manage budgets, catering, and vendor relationships; assist with social media content.

Human Resources & Team Support: manage onboarding/offboarding logistics; coordinate safety and emergency training; assist with HR needs such as team swag and performance review cycles.

Technology: provide basic IT troubleshooting, manage tech assets and devices, oversee Wi-Fi and onboarding/offboarding of devices; manage security systems including cameras and door sensors.

Vendor and Financial Administration: manage purchase orders, vendor onboarding, invoicing and payments, and mail-related financial tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

Associate's or Bachelor's degree; coursework in a creative field welcomed.

1-5+ years of experience in office management.

Experience with social media in a professional or academic setting preferred.

Familiarity with Salesforce for reporting and account updates is a plus.

Experience using commercially available AI tools is a plus.

Proactive, positive, highly motivated with strong ownership; excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced startup.

Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
