At Rani Alfers Farmers Insurance Agency, we are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Insurance Service Representative specializing in Specialty Lines.
As a specialist in this field, you'll primarily support existing commercial clients, answering questions, processing policy updates, and ensuring a smooth, friendly experience. In addition to providing exceptional service, you'll also be responsible for generating new quotes and contributing to the agency's growth through sales incentives. You'll work with warm leads, existing clients, and inbound opportunities to help match clients with the right coverage.

Responsibilities
Client Support & Communication:
Act as the main point of contact for assigned commercial accounts
Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, policy changes, billing, and certificates of insurance
Proactively communicate with clients regarding renewals, audits, or required documents
Policy Management:
Process endorsements, cancellations, renewals, and rewrites
Review policies for accuracy and ensure proper documentation
Assist in preparing renewal reviews and summary of insurance documents
Quoting & Carrier Support:
Assist with quoting for renewals and new business as needed
Gather underwriting information and collaborate with carriers for approvals
Support the producer or agency principal with quote preparation and submissions
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records in the agency management system
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company guidelines
Assist with audits, inspections, and client follow-up related to compliance
Requirements
Prior experience in commercial insurance service or account management
Active Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain one quickly)
Familiarity with certificates of insurance, endorsements, and policy documentation
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Confident communicator with strong follow-through
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Comfortable working with technology and agency management systems
Experience with Farmers, Allstate, or independent commercial carriers is a plus
