About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to be the senior clinical leader, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care across its multidisciplinary network. The CMO will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, overseeing quality improvement initiatives, and leading the recruitment, mentoring, and professional development of medical staff. This role also involves collaborating with executive leadership on strategic growth, program development, and the integration of care services, as well as championing population health strategies and representing the organization in community and healthcare partnerships.
Candidates for the CMO position at the company must have an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school, board certification in a primary care specialty, and an active New York State medical license or the ability to obtain one. A minimum of 10 years of clinical experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or administrative role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in quality improvement, provider engagement, and operational leadership, with experience in FQHC, community health, or mission-driven healthcare settings strongly preferred. The CMO will play a critical role in advancing the mission of accessible, equitable healthcare for the community and must be committed to the values of the organization.
