General Pantry Support Volunteer , you will provide support in all aspects of the operations of the Community Food Pantry at Highbridge. Tasks include Food donations pickup; receive and store food deliveries; prepare and dispose food packing materials and food waste. This is an in-person role, day to day tasks include: lifting and moving packages of up to 50 pounds, volunteers work directly with volunteer coordinator and pantry manger; volunteers work location is 1363 and1350 Ogden Avenue and the various pickup location. Base site is accessible by public transport. Time commitment: ideally, 15 hours per week. 5 hours min.
