Donor Network of Arizona is seeking an experienced and mission-driven finance leader to oversee the financial and supply chain operations of our organization. As Director, Finance, you will guide strategic financial planning, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and lead high-performing Finance and Purchasing & Supply Services teams to support our mission of saving and healing lives through organ and tissue donation. You will work closely with the CFO and organizational leaders to ensure the long-term financial health and operational excellence of DNA.

Strategic & Financial Leadership Partner with the CFO to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with DNA’s mission. Analyze financial performance, risks, and trends to inform strategic decisions. Lead short- and medium-term organizational planning and budgeting processes. Operational Oversight Direct all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, audit, tax reporting, payroll, and financial reporting. Ensure timely and accurate month-end closings, financial statements, and Medicare cost reports. Lead annual audits, Form 990 filings, and internal controls management. Lead and support the Finance and Purchasing & Supply Services teams. Provide performance feedback, development opportunities, and clear expectations. Ensure team adherence to organizational values, goals, and quality standards. Work cross-functionally with leaders on financial planning, reporting, and compliance. Partner with Human Resources and executive leadership on compensation, benefits, and retirement plans. Provide clear financial guidance and education to departments across the organization. Policy & Process Management Develop and maintain financial policies, SOPs, and internal controls. Ensure compliance with GAAP, Medicare reimbursement regulations, and nonprofit reporting requirements. Identify opportunities for process improvement and systems optimization. Serve as a key resource for financial software systems, including Microsoft Dynamics GP. Support software utilization and training to maximize effectiveness and efficiency. Purchasing & Supply Chain Oversight Ensure adequate supply inventory and support accurate financial and clinical tracking. Oversee purchasing systems and workflows to meet clinical and financial needs. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 10+ years of progressive Finance and Accounting experience 5+ years of experience managing Finance and Accounting teams Extensive working knowledge of GAAP Healthcare finance experience required; nonprofit experience preferred Preferred Education: Master’s Degree in Accounting or related field. CPA certification Preferred Experience: 3–5 years of healthcare finance experience, including Medicare reimbursement. 2+ years in a senior leadership role in a similarly sized organization. We Offer
