Nurse Performance Improvement Coordinator (Hybrid)

Position title: Nurse Performance Improvement Coordinator; Position type: Hybrid, Full Time; Employment type: Full time; Shift: Day Shift. The Process Improvement Coordinator plays a key role in the hospitals Performance Improvement Plan by providing leadership, expertise and support in process improvement with a focus on clinical improvement projects. Working under the direction of the PI Director, Managers and Senior PI Clinical Coordinators, the specialist directs and supports the work of multi-functional teams to improve organizational performance and promote efficient use of resources. Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health. What You Will Do
Provide effective design, measurement and analysis of key clinical and operational processes. Facilitate the development and application of Lean, Six Sigma, and other PI tools and techniques to support hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives; certification preferred. Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of the Performance Improvement/Outcomes Management Program for Holy Cross Health. Assist key customers in developing programs that identify, prioritize, develop, analyze, measure and improve key processes and outcomes. Manage systems to collect and analyze outcome data and report internally and to external databases. Facilitate and support hospital-wide multi-disciplinary teams; support hospital-wide quality committees and Peer Review, OPPE and organization-wide PI Projects. Provide formal education programs on use of performance improvement tools and methods; serve as an internal PI consultant. Promote and support process transformation. Minimum Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required
Registered Nurse or other clinically licensed health care professional with current Maryland license. Thorough knowledge of healthcare systems with at least five years of hospital experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered and may be accepted. Prior experience in performance improvement, outcomes management, project management and peer review; Six Sigma, Lean, or similar training/experience preferred. Strong analytical, written and verbal skills; ability to provide educational programs to professional and management staff and physicians. Solid knowledge of statistics; ability to analyze and interpret data using statistical tools. Prior experience with Minitab, SPSS or similar software preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to facilitate teams; prior experience with team facilitation preferred. Proven record of performance and trusted professional credibility. Participates in the development and implementation of the Performance Improvement Plan for the hospital including Medical Staff Peer Review, OPPE, clinical case review, data abstractions, and data entry for PI initiatives. Coordinates PI work related to Peer Review, TJC and other Center of Excellence Certifications. Benefits

Pay Range: $37.18-$55.77 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary within the stated range based on location. EEO
