As a Master Electrician, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant standards.
*Responsibilities*
* Lead and supervise electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols. * Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage applications. * Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks as needed. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately. * Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools. * Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects to integrate electrical systems seamlessly. * Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal electrical codes throughout the project lifecycle. * Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices on best practices in the field.
*Experience*
* Proven experience as a Master Electrician with a strong portfolio of completed projects in both commercial and industrial settings. * Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment related to electrical work. * Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards is essential. * Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of frame carpentry is preferred. * Background in maintenance person services or general construction is advantageous. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
