EAST COAST ELECTRIC OF ME LLC is hiring: JOURNEYMEN ELECTRICIAN in Portland

WE ARE LOOKING FOR JOURNEYMAN & MASTER ELECTRICIANS FOR RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL PROJECTS.

THIS INDIVIDUAL WILL BE HONEST, PUNCTUAL AND LOOKING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE; MUST BE ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND IN A TEAM ENVIRONMENT; BE ABLE TO TAKE DIRECTION; AND WORK IN A DRAMA FREE ENVIROMENT.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine wiring layouts and specifications.
• Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Provide expertise in both low and high voltage applications, adapting to both commercial and industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a strong understanding of NEC regulations
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters
• Familiarity with low and high voltage systems
• Experience in reading blueprints and schematics
• Background in commercial and industrial electrical work
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers and renovation projects
• Ability to work effectively on construction sites and frame carpentry tasks
