*Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at DeLacy Ford. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our customers' vehicles.
*Responsibilities* * Diagnose and repair diesel engines and associated systems efficiently. * Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel vehicles. * Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs. * Assemble components as needed for various diesel applications. * Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair needs and timelines. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. * Assist in training junior technicians when necessary.
*Requirements* * Proven experience in automotive repair, specifically with diesel engines. * Strong knowledge of power tools and diagnostic equipment. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job. * Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
