*Position Summary*
We’re hiring an *A-Level Automotive Technician* (Master) who can diagnose the toughest issues, mentor teammates, and deliver top-tier, right-the-first-time repairs. You’ll own complex drivability and electrical diagnostics, lead by example on quality and safety, and collaborate closely with our service team to create great customer outcomes.
*Responsibilities*
* *Advanced diagnostics & repair:* Drivability, electrical, CAN/bus, ADAS, HVAC, engine, transmission, steering/suspension, brakes, and hybrid/EV systems * *Learning mindset:* Keep current on new platforms, service procedures, TSBs, and software-based diagnostics. * *Inspection excellence:* Perform thorough digital inspections and document clear notes, photos, and test results. * *Quality & efficiency:* Hit efficiency targets while maintaining uncompromising quality; perform QC checks when needed. * *Collaboration:* Work directly with Service Advisors to align on estimates, timelines, and customer updates; occasionally speak with customers to explain findings. * *Shop leadership:* Help set the standard on safety, tool care, organization, and workflow; coach B/C-level techs.
*Requirements*
* *5+ years* professional shop experience (or equivalent mastery) with proven advanced diagnostics capability. * Optional but preferred: *ASE Master* (or several ASEs on path to Master). Manufacturer training a plus (Ford, Toyota/Lexus, VW/Audi, GM, etc.). * Strong command of scan tools, scopes, programming/coding, service information systems, etc. * Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable documenting cause/correction and talking customers through repairs. * Valid driver’s license with insurable record * Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
*Schedule & Work Environment*
* *Full-time, on-site* in Aspen, CO * Monday through Friday. 8:30 to 5:00. Optional Saturday work with overtime pay when demand warrants. * Modern digital workflow (DVI, SMS), clean bays, strong parts support, and consistent car count.
