We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires a thorough understanding of various vehicle systems and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on automotive vehicles, consisting mostly of Ford, Toyota & Nissan taxi and for-hire vehicles Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot automotive electrical systems. Repair/replace engines and transmissions and perform powertrain services as needed. Execute alignment procedures to ensure proper vehicle handling. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Assist in auto body repair tasks when necessary, including welding operations. Skills Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with hands-on mechanic experience. Advanced diagnostics, suspension, cooling systems, A/C repair Complex diagnostics, drivability issues, engine/transmission rebuilds Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices and procedures. Ability to work with various types of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems is essential for diagnosing issues accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail.
