Blockchain Developer SCRUM Master Commitment: 12-months Role Overview: This role is responsible for facilitating Agile processes and ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions within the Greenstand ecosystem. The Scrum Master will guide cross-functional teams by championing Agile principles, removing blockers, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will help structure workflows that enhance communication, collaboration, and transparency across the development lifecycle. Compensation: Volunteer, until otherwise funded Reports to: VP of Engineering, Blockchain Lead Collaborates with: Contributors, System Users Leads Blockchain Infrastructure, Tokenization System, Smart Contracts Development AREAS of RESPONSIBILITY Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for multiple Agile teams.

Serve as a coach and servant leader to ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum values and principles.

Identify and eliminate obstacles that may impede team progress or delivery timelines.

Promote Agile best practices and foster collaboration across globally distributed teams.

Ensure effective communication between developers, designers, product owners, and stakeholders.

Track sprint deliverables, maintain sprint backlogs, and generate velocity reports.

Support the implementation of tools and processes that enhance workflow visibility (e.g., Jira, GitHub Projects, Trello).

Advocate for quality by supporting integration of QA and documentation processes into sprints.

Identify areas for team growth and drive initiatives for process improvement and Agile maturity.

Help ensure the team delivers value aligned with Greenstand’s environmental and social impact goals.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE: Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role in a software development environment.

Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to adapt them to dynamic project needs.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Experience working with distributed or open-source teams is highly desirable.

Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.

A technical background or the ability to work closely with technical teams is a plus.

Passion for sustainability, environmental data, and purpose-driven technology.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is a bonus.
