Partnerships & Fundraising Associate Commitment: 24-months Role Overview: This role is responsible for driving partnerships, business development, and fundraising efforts to scale Greenstand’s impact. The Partnerships & Fundraising Associate will work closely with leadership to identify opportunities, build relationships, and secure funding that supports Greenstand’s mission. The ideal candidate is passionate about sustainability, experienced in partnership development, and skilled in strategic fundraising approaches. Compensation: Volunteer, until otherwise funded Reports to: Managing Director, Grants PM Collaborates with: Grants writers AREAS of RESPONSIBILITY This role is responsible for developing and managing Greenstand’s partnerships and fundraising strategies. Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with partners, donors, and funding organizations.

Research and pursue funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and corporate partnerships.

Develop compelling proposals, pitch decks, and concept notes to engage stakeholders.

Support the design and implementation of revenue models that align with Greenstand’s mission.

Monitor industry trends to identify new partnership and fundraising opportunities.

Represent Greenstand at events, conferences, and networking opportunities to foster collaborations.

Assist in planning and executing fundraising campaigns, initiatives, and events.

Manage external communications related to partnerships and fundraising.

REQUIRED TASKS: Conduct outreach and engagement efforts to expand Greenstand’s partner network.

Draft and refine grant applications, funding proposals, and reports.

Track fundraising efforts and partnership developments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Coordinate with internal teams to align partnership and fundraising strategies with Greenstand’s objectives.

Maintain detailed documentation of funding applications, donor communications, and partnership agreements.

Collaborate with the communications team to highlight Greenstand’s impact for potential funders.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE: 3 to 6 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, or fundraising.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to support teams and manage stakeholder relationships.

Proven experience in grant writing, proposal development, and securing funding.

Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

Experience working in sustainability, environmental initiatives, or the nonprofit sector is a plus.

Strong research and analytical skills to identify funding trends and opportunities.

Comfortable working with digital tools, including Google Workspace, Slack, and CRM platforms.

Ability to work asynchronously and collaboratively with a global team.

Experience in Human-Centered Design and strategic thinking is a plus.
