Connolly Music is hiring: Accountant in East Northport

We have partnered with manufacturers across the globe, in addition to our own products, to deliver the highest quality music instruments & accessories to our dealers and our devoted community of musicians.

The accountant should be a detailed-oriented and motivated individual that is interested in joining our finance team and help us maintain accurate financial records and support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine financial records and ensure accuracy
• Financial Account Reconciliation and Analysis
• Cash Flow Reporting and bank reconciliation
• Data Entry (vendor invoicing and journal entries)
• Application of cash receipts
• Accounts Payable
• Monthly reporting (journal entries and compiling reports)
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Sales invoice backup
• Department support

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· 5+ years of Accounting experience

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills

· ERP experience required (Microsoft Business Central or Great Plains ideal!)

· Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)

Pay: $65-75K – Hybrid work schedule
