We are currently seeking an Industrial Electrician! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both industrial and commercial electrical work, demonstrating proficiency in various electrical systems and tools. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, blueprint reading. A Manufacturing Electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems and equipment within a manufacturing facility. This role ensures that all electrical components operate safely and efficiently to minimize downtime and support production goals.

Responsibilities:

• Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
• Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
• Troubleshoot motor and control systems
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform electrical installations and repairs.
• Conduct tests using ammeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with construction teams to integrate electrical systems into building projects.
• Ensure all work complies with national and local electrical codes.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns.

​​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
• 5+ years Journeyman Electrician license (as required by local regulations).
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. and safe work environment on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems.
• Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards related to electrical work.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to electrical installations.
• Experience with frame carpentry is a plus.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other relevant equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting electrical issues.
