Assistant Store Manager

We're seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service, and team development. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with store functions and day-to-day store activities, helping customers in a positive, approachable manner, organizing and transferring merchandise, performing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional effectiveness, and assisting in ordering merchandise. Additionally, the role involves maintaining areas of the store, protecting and securing company assets, adhering to policies, supervising, training, and developing store associates, ensuring a positive environment, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the store. Other duties as assigned may also be required. Skills and experience required include a high school diploma or equivalent, store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are essential, as well as the ability to work in a high-energy, team environment. Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required, along with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
