Salary/Hourly Rate:
$75k- $90k AnnuallyPosition Overview:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant role will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. This position will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports for management.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Coordinate audits and manage tax filings.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial initiatives.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in NetSuite software is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:
- Experience in the financial services or banking industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with financial modeling and analysis.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
