Northrop Grumman Space SystemsLaunch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for an Integration & Test Engineer SW Integration & Test Engineer to join our team of skilled and diverse professionals. This position, based in Colorado Springs, CO, plays a crucial role in supporting the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels. The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a vital part of the Missile Defense System. It provides an essential operational platform that allows the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and tactical levels to plan ballistic missile defense operations systematically, monitor battle progress, and actively manage networked sensors and weapon systems to meet global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC offers a layered missile defense capability, delivering an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It functions as a force multiplier by connecting, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations both worldwide and locally to improve overall performance. Additionally, C2BMC is a key component of all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the missile defense system's current and future capabilities. This position provides hands-on experience supporting the information technology team by delivering essential maintenance for software development and supporting laboratory environments that back the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. C2BMC acts as the integrating component of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). Essential Functions: Supporting the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other IT resources Assisting with IT troubleshooting issues and delivering technical support as needed Contributing to IT resources, cybersecurity, and data management activities Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience or a master's degree in a STEM discipline; or 6 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Applicants must possess a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start. Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs. Applicants must have a current active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.) which is required to start. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work efficiently within a team environment. Understanding of the Agile processes. Must have experience with any of the following Information Technology disciplines: Operating systems Windows Linux, and/or Unix Hardware and software systems Software development Application development Data management Cybersecurity Network administration Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Java, R, MATLAB, HTML, and C++ software development is a plus Primary Level Salary Range: $67,200.00 - $100,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
