IT Project Manager
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented IT Project Manager to join our Business Management team supporting Capital Markets Technology within the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) division. This individual will play a critical role in leading and managing multiple high-priority IT projects within the Capital Markets Technology portfolio, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives, while driving the delivery of high-priority technology initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the execution of business strategies. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in Agile methodologies, including Rally, and a strong track record of leading Scrum teams in complex enterprise environments within the financial services industry. The IT Project Manager will partner with internal and external auditors and regulators to ensure compliance with governance, control, and regulatory standards. They will also collaborate with stakeholders across business, technology, and risk functions, including senior leaders and executives, to provide updates, address issues, and align project outcomes with strategic objectives. Please note that this position is based in an office-centric environment located in Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA. The work schedule requires employees to be on-site four days per week, one day remote. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Specific activities may change from time to time: Provide leadership in managing critical day-to-day program/project elements including: project vision/objectives, financials, scope, quality, schedule, resourcing, vendor management, dependencies, risks, status reporting, stakeholder engagement, business readiness/change management, and value realization necessary to deliver specified requirements, objectives and value. Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes and ensure appropriate and professional communication among project stakeholders. Manage projects through the project lifecycle. Document the project charter, roles, tasks and measures of success. Evaluate progress and quality, manage issue resolution and take corrective action as necessary. Ensure adherence to BB&T Project Office and other applicable Corporate policies and processes. Proactively develop innovative approaches, risk mitigation strategies, quality control and continuous improvement. Provide feedback to group managers regarding the work performance of members.
