About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to be a strategic leader and champion of people, culture, and purpose. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and driving all aspects of the organization's people strategy, ensuring that policies, practices, and programs align with business goals and reflect the company's values and commitment to social responsibility. This role involves leading the design and implementation of innovative human capital initiatives, serving as a strategic partner in corporate planning, and overseeing the HR budget and key financial metrics. The Vice President will also be tasked with developing staffing strategies, maintaining competitive compensation and benefits programs, and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Applicants for the Vice President of Human Resources position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience, with a Master’s degree preferred, and HR certification is also a plus. A minimum of 12 years of HR leadership experience, with a background in both strategic and operational HR, is required. Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector, as well as in both union and non-union environments, is highly valued. The role demands a demonstrated ability to implement training and development programs, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a proven track record in talent management, including attraction, engagement, development, and retention. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of labor and employee relations and be adept at enhancing and enforcing HR policies and systems to improve organizational effectiveness.
