Description : Agile5 Technologies is seeking a skilled Senior Systems Administrator to install, configure, and maintain operating system workstations and servers in a multi-enclave environment. You'll ensure system performance, data integrity, and security through advanced troubleshooting, security hardening, and disaster recovery planning. This role is crucial for supporting a collaborative user environment and ensuring a high level of system availability.

Senior Systems Administrator Job Duties: Install, configure, and maintain operating system workstations and servers. Perform software installations and upgrades according to established IT policies. Monitor and tune systems for optimum performance. Ensure data integrity and recoverability through software, hardware, and backup solutions. Develop and promote standard operating procedures, including a comprehensive configuration database. Conduct routine hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with standards. Support analytical tool infrastructure. Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities. Respond to and resolve critical incidents within designated timelines.

Security Clearance Requirements : Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying and be able to pass a polygraph examination.

Experience Requirements : Requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in systems administration. Candidates must have experience with the SAFe Agile framework, a strong understanding of multi-enclave environments, and demonstrated experience managing complex systems in government settings.

Education Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Desired Skills / Qualifications:

Advanced proficiency with complex multi-enclave environments, system security hardening, high-availability configurations, disaster recovery planning, system automation, and capacity planning. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), configuration management tools, LDAP/OpenLDAP, Splunk, DevSecOps, and SAFe Agile is highly desirable.

Status : Full time

Schedule:

Day shift, Monday-Friday

Physical Requirements : Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time. Also, must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
