This position is located in the Office of the Senior Vice President of Board Authorized Finance (OBAF) of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM Bank) and is assigned to the Transportation Division, Make More in America Unit within OBAF.
The primary responsibility of the position is to support the most complex international portfolio of financial transactions under the guidance of the supervisor.
At the full performance level, duties include, but are not limited to:
Performs as an expert in one or more of the division's subject matter areas such as project and/or corporate finance credit analytics, sectoral focus, complex restructuring and workout expertise, capital markets analysis, or other areas as may be determined. Serves as a Relationship Manager for borrowers, lenders, and exporters for the most complex portfolios of transactions. Performs broad and comprehensive research and analysis on the most complex portfolios and develops advanced level financing modeling (scenarios, probabilities, asset stress testing etc.) using financial information provided by borrowers, sponsors, lenders, guarantors, and public sources. Represents EXIM Bank, as an expert in designated subject matter areas, at interagency meetings, and conferences on government policy, programs and issues. Requirements

GS-14 : You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the

level in the Federal Government or other equivalent pay systems. Specialized experience includes:
Expert experience in analysis of project, structured finance, or corporate finance transactions specifically with experience in such industries as advanced air mobility, biomedical, manufacturing, renewable energy, energy storage and efficiency, battery technology, critical minerals, and/or other similar sectors; Experience in financial statement analysis, advanced accounting, domestic finance, international business, and transaction structuring; Experience in the origination and underwriting of domestic finance (related to U.S. manufacturing facilities and infrastructure projects in the United States in the industrial sectors mentioned above) transactions; and Experience in the origination, structuring, and underwriting of limited recourse project finance, structured finance, and or corporate finance transactions. Education cannot be substituted for experience at the GS-14 grade level.
