is seeking a
Business Development Manager
to join a cutting-edge aerospace technology company. The
Business Development Manager
will drive lead generation, customer qualification, and strategic outreach across commercial aerospace, new space, earth observation, and adjacent markets.
This position will be hybrid 2 days per week in Arvada, CO!
Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager include:
Lead Generation & Prospecting Identify and research target accounts within commercial aerospace, new space, earth observation, and adjacent markets Proactively reach out via email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate interest and schedule discovery calls with qualified leads Attend industry conferences with pre-scheduled meetings for customer discovery Manage inbound leads through qualification, discovery, and initial handoff Qualification & Discovery
Use frameworks such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or CHAMP to assess customer fit Understand customer challenges in satellite operations and align needs with platform strengths (hybrid ops, automation, monitoring) Collaboration
Work closely with the Director of Commercial Sales to coordinate outreach, hand off qualified leads, and refine messaging Partner with marketing on campaigns, follow-ups, and outbound strategy Provide input on Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) adjustments based on front-line conversations CRM & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of lead activity, conversations, and outcomes in HubSpot (or equivalent CRM) Track and report weekly progress toward activity and conversion metrics (calls, emails, meetings booked, SQLs) Qualifications for the Business Development Manager include:
3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or customer engagement in aerospace or related industries Proven success in outbound prospecting and lead qualification Familiarity with satellite operations, automation platforms, or space technologies is a plus Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Compensation for the Business Development Manager includes:
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000
Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
