We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team on a short-term contract basis in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, you will handle front desk responsibilities and provide excellent customer service while our primary receptionist is on leave. Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors and clients in a friendly and attentive manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.
• Maintain calendars and schedule appointments as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, with accuracy and professionalism.
• Perform data entry tasks and maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
• Provide administrative support to various departments as required, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to create and manage documents.
• Coordinate with team members to address any front desk or operational needs effectively.
• Monitor and restock office supplies to maintain a well-functioning workspace.
• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems with a customer-focused approach.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Detail-oriented approach to interacting with clients and team members effectively.
• Experience with scheduling and managing appointments is a plus.
