We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Rochester, New York. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors and callers with a courteous demeanor, ensuring a welcoming and helpful experience.
• Manage incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
• Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all materials and supplies are well-stocked.
• Handle scheduling and coordination of appointments or meetings as needed.
• Process and distribute incoming mail and packages promptly and efficiently.
• Use Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook to draft communications and manage correspondence.
• Support administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and document management.
• Assist with special projects or events as assigned, ensuring all logistical needs are met.
• Provide general office support to ensure smooth daily operations of the organization.• Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative support role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook for communication and organizational tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
• A friendly and approachable demeanor with a customer-focused attitude.
• Familiarity with non-profit organizations is a plus but not required.
