This role focuses on building diverse talent pipelines while ensuring compliance with labor laws and union agreements. The ideal candidate will play a key role in strategic planning, university relations programs, and enhancing the candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from job postings to onboarding, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements and legal requirements.
• Develop and implement innovative hiring plans and sourcing strategies to attract top talent for hard-to-fill and specialized positions.
• Build and lead university relations programs by organizing events, fostering partnerships, and maintaining strong college networks.
• Represent the organization at career fairs, community outreach programs, and industry events, occasionally requiring travel.
• Create and execute strategies to improve recruitment capabilities, including leadership initiatives and analytics-driven approaches.
• Maintain and optimize applicant tracking systems to ensure accurate data entry, reporting, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate across departments to develop holistic strategies that enhance candidate experience and support university relations.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency and hiring outcomes.
• Prepare detailed recruitment reports, dashboards, and presentations using tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva.
• Stay updated on labor market trends and employment laws to adapt recruitment strategies effectively.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment or human resources management.
• Proficiency in managing employee relations and HR administration tasks.
• Expertise in HRIS systems and onboarding processes.
• Strong sourcing abilities using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and social media.
