Salary/Wage Grade: $18.85 - $30.65 per hour (equivalent to $39,208 - $63,752 annually, depending on experience)
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Manager
Work Arrangement: Onsite

Under general supervision, the Human Resources Specialist is responsible for handling the day-to-day administration of policies and/or programs covering several or all of the following areas: recruiting, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, and personnel research. This position also monitors and maintains department-specific databases and systems, and may be responsible for Oracle data input, data integrity, and workflow approvals.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Administers HR policies and programs related to recruiting, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, and personnel research.

  • Monitors and maintains department-specific HR databases and systems.

  • Ensures accuracy of Oracle data entry and workflow approvals.

  • Provides HR support and assists with other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field required.

  • Related fields include (but are not limited to):

  • Human Resource Management

  • Business Administration

  • Industrial/Organizational Psychology

  • Public Administration

  • Organizational Leadership or related behavioral/social sciences

  • Experience: One (1) year of related experience required.

  • Related experience may include:

  • Recruiting/talent acquisition

  • Compensation and benefits administration

  • Employee/labor relations

  • HRIS/HR database management (e.g., Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday)

  • Training and development coordination

  • Generalist-level HR support in a professional setting

  • Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
