Nuclear Care Partners is hiring an IT Support Specialist to join our team in Grand Junction, CO. The IT Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of technology for the organization, which serves former Department of Energy workers. This includes providing technical assistance to employees, troubleshooting equipment and software issues, and offering user training on IT systems and software. The specialist helps improve system performance, supports cloud-based projects, and assists with the deployment of mobile training platforms. They also maintain and track IT inventory, ensure compliance with regulations, and contribute to the development of instructional materials and forms. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides answers to Company users by identifying problems; researching answers; guiding users through corrective steps
- Improves system performance by identifying problems and recommends changes.
- Assists with Cloud based development projects and web services integration.
- Provides Cloud based domain support.
- Provides Help Desk functions such as technical/troubleshooting for users, resolves equipment and software issues.
- Assists with ordering, setting-up and maintaining inventory on all IT equipment, i.e. cell/desk phones, tablets, computers, etc.
- Provides or assists with user training on all IT equipment and software as needed.
- New device deployment: PC’s, notebooks, tablets and phones.
- Assists in development of instructional booklets on how to use software, i.e. EMR for nurses, CNA’s and HHA’s.
- Assists in the creation of forms as needed by various company departments, i.e. editable PDF forms.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree or higher in a related area is preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
