Power BI Developer
Pay Range: $65/hour to $77/hour
About the Role
We are looking for a Power BI Developer who is passionate about transforming complex data into meaningful insights. You’ll be a key member of our client’s analytics team, developing scalable and high-performance Power BI solutions that empower decision-makers across the organization. This role requires strong SQL skills, attention to data quality, and a solid understanding of business processes in supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, or engineering. Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, apps, and dataflows to support enterprise analytics and operational decision-making. Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient and accurate data extraction from various sources. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into clear, actionable visualizations. Perform data validation and integrity checks to ensure report accuracy and reliability. Optimize performance of Power BI data models, queries, and dashboards. Partner with cross-functional teams in supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, and design engineering to understand their data and reporting needs. Create and maintain documentation for data models, reporting processes, and standards. Required Qualifications
Proven hands-on experience with Power BI including dashboards, dataflows, and published apps. Strong SQL proficiency, with experience in writing complex queries and tuning for performance. Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy and validation. Familiarity with business processes in supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, or design engineering. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M). Experience with cloud data platforms like Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, or Snowflake. Familiarity with source control tools (e.g., Git) and DevOps practices for BI development. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Prosum
