Overview
The Senior Analyst, Marketing – KHI will be responsible for supporting cross-functional business teams in the planning, execution and analysis of various business initiatives related to products, pricing, promotion, and packaging within across core KHI categories (Cheese, Condiments, Confections). This role gains broad exposure to all functional activities on the KHI business including Consumer Insights, New Product Development, Sales, Operations, and Finance, which results in strengthened marketing fundamentals and a holistic approach to driving business growth. Demonstrating excellence in these areas will lead to future progression on a general management career path. This position directly interacts with the field-based Sales team and other cross-functional partners and is a key member of the KHI Marketing Team. Key responsibilities
Works across assigned category to develop pragmatic solutions for manufacturers and distributors to integrate Ingredient offerings into their portfolio of raw materials Supports the P&L and understands the key levers to increase profit Focus on driving the business and translating broad strategy into channel specific brand strategies and executions Assists with developing annual marketing plans that meet the growth objectives for each category Creates segment and account specific marketing programs to drive demand Provides field sales the tools and materials they need to achieve sales objectives Closely monitors and analyzes sales volumes, market share trends and competitive activity Performs in-depth analysis and reporting of multi-category marketing, promotional campaigns, and programs to optimize their performance Leads end to end business processes with cross functional partners Coordinates product management and/or cost reduction projects with internal and external resources Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required; Business, Marketing or related field strongly preferred 2 - 3 years of experience in category marketing, product management, brand management Outstanding numerical and analytical skill set with ability to interpret quantitative data and perform detailed trend analysis utilizing raw volume data Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively with product development and sales Ability to handle simultaneous projects and deliver within agreed upon time frames Experience in marketing plan development situation assessment, strategy, and tactical plan development Excellent organizational and project management skills Willing to travel 10% Salary and compensation
Base pay range: $88,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr New Hire Base Salary Range: $88,000.00 - $110,000.00 Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
