4–5 years of business litigation experience
to join its Commercial Litigation Practice Group in
Detroit . The successful candidate will be a persuasive legal writer and oral advocate with substantial experience handling complex business litigation in state and federal courts. Core responsibilities include: Managing written and document discovery Researching and drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings Conducting and defending depositions Preparing witnesses for testimony Appearing for status conferences and arguing motions in state and federal court Experience with trial preparation, settlement conferences, and negotiations is preferred. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic, and will be comfortable working directly with partners and clients. The firm is seeking a well-rounded, dynamic lawyer who thrives in a sophisticated, fast-paced practice and collaborative environment.
