Job Title: Sr. Systems Engineer
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Description: Monitor, operate, and maintain critical infrastructure across airport communication rooms and data centers, including UPS, PDUs, generators, HVAC/CRAC units, chillers, and fire-life-safety systems. Conduct assessments to verify equipment performance, environmental stability, and compliance with IT and safety standards. Ensure uninterrupted operations during utility power events by managing UPS and generator backup systems. Support incident response and root cause analysis (RCA) to strengthen resiliency against future disruptions. Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with NFPA, OSHA, FAA, and manufacturer standards. Maintain accurate asset documentation, inspection logs, and compliance reports for critical environments. Ensure comm rooms and data centers are maintained to industry standards, with proper cooling, cable management, and secure access protocols. Support critical infrastructure modernization projects including UPS refresh programs, HVAC right-sizing, and facility consolidations. Coordinate with CRE and IT stakeholders to implement facility upgrades, ensuring minimal impact to operations. Provide input on lifecycle planning, energy efficiency improvements, and sustainability initiatives. Serve as the primary liaison between IT and Corporate Real Estate (CRE) for facilities management, maintenance contracts, and vendor coordination. Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize critical locations and allocate resources effectively. Provide technical expertise and clear communication to leadership, enabling informed decision-making on risk, resiliency, and investment. Ensure adherence of Design Standards for managed IT comm room space, UPS, HVAC, Generators, and Fire Life and Safety Systems (FLS).
