Technical Manufacturing/Production Manager

Our client is seeking a driven and solutions-focused Technical Manufacturing/Production Manager to oversee operations across multiple production areas within a specialized manufacturing environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by enhancing performance, refining processes, and ensuring consistent quality and delivery for a diverse global customer base. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive mindset to guide teams and strengthen operational excellence. This role is onsite in Beaverton, Oregon. Responsibilities
Oversee daily production activities across multiple operational areas, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met. Lead and mentor production staff, fostering accountability and performance while maintaining a collaborative culture. Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and tolerances to guide production processes. Load, program, and monitor specialized equipment for grinding, polishing, and laser applications. Implement and track KPIs to improve performance, quality, and on-time delivery. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and present solutions-oriented recommendations to leadership. Maintain accurate records, organize reports, and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; Associate degree or technical trade certification will be considered with relevant experience. Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally in machining, fabrication, or custom component production. Hands-on technical expertise with equipment used for grinding, shaping, polishing, and laser cutting. Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Demonstrated track record of driving process improvements and delivering measurable results. Self-starter with the confidence to make decisions and present well-formed solutions. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to balance strategic oversight and operational detail.
