HR Assistant
Our client is seeking an HR Assistant to provide day-to-day support to their Human Resources team. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in HR while working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
This role is onsite in Seattle, Washington.
Due to the nature of this role and immediate business needs, we are only considering candidates currently residing in Seattle, Washington and surrounding area.
Responsibilities
Support HR processes including I-9 verification, onboarding paperwork, orientations, and compliance documentation.
Assist with staffing and scheduling requests, applicant tracking, and interview coordination.
Maintain employee records and update HRIS/payroll systems with changes.
Provide employee support with payroll/timekeeping inquiries and paycheck distribution.
Manage HR administrative tasks such as unemployment claims, filing, and reporting.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; additional education in HR, business, or related fields preferred.
1–2 years of HR or customer service experience with exposure to HR processes (I-9s strongly preferred).
Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.
Strong communication and organizational skills; detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Comfortable working onsite in an industrial environment; prior manufacturing setting experience a plus.
Compensation: $20-$25/hr. (DOE)
