Novato Unified School District (NUSD) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our dedicated team. This confidential position plays a critical role in supporting the CFO and Business Services Department by managing complex administrative functions, coordinating communications, and ensuring smooth daily operations. As the Executive Assistant to the CFO at Novato Unified, you will be a key player in ensuring our schools and programs receive the financial support necessary for their success. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. The successful candidate will be adept at handling sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and will possess excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels. Collaborating closely with the CFO, you will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Business Services Department. Responsibilities
Provide high-level executive administrative support to the CFO and the Business Services Department, including calendar management, correspondence, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements. Assist with preparation of board packets, financial reports, and other documents requiring confidentiality and discretion. Coordinate communications between the CFO, district leadership, staff, and external partners; respond to inquiries as appropriate. Organize and prioritize multiple projects, campaigns, and deadlines to ensure timely completion. Qualifications
Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school, supplemented by coursework, and three years (3) of increasingly responsible administrative assistant experience, preferably in public schools Proven experience as an executive or administrative assistant Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion Bilingual Spanish preferred, and may qualify for an additional annual stipend
