The Lead Windows Administrator oversees comprehensive endpoint management and IT workflows, ensuring secure end-user experiences through patch management, software deployment, encryption, and automation activities across the enterprise Windows environment. Required Qualifications
Minimum 5-8 years individual contributor experience in related technical areas CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or equivalent certification Expert-level Windows Workstation support, imaging, patch management, COTS and GOTS software deployment, encryption, and automation experience Advanced Active Directory architecture, design, and implementation knowledge Comprehensive Windows Desktop and Server operating systems understanding PowerShell scripting proficiency for task automation and management Advanced Group Policy management and troubleshooting experience Security best practices knowledge with Active Directory security implementation capability Active Directory backup and recovery solutions expertise Proven experience with BIOS management, BitLocker encryption management, Microsoft administrative tools, M365 and Azure management systems, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), and Intune Entra AD Essential Responsibilities
Manage enterprise patch management processes with thorough testing protocols Oversee software deployment, encryption management, and IT workflow automation Monitor and address security vulnerabilities in coordination with security teams Utilize scripting and automation tools including PowerShell, Ansible, SCCM, and Intune Optimize desktop engineering processes through automation implementation Professional Standards
