Overview
We are seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to elevate our brand, tell our story, and drive engagement with institutions, partners, and the broader higher education community. This is a hybrid role based in Mesa, AZ, with up to 25% travel. Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Management Develop and execute marketing campaigns across digital, print, and in-person channels. Ensure consistent messaging and brand presence across all materials and platforms. Plan, launch, and optimize digital advertising campaigns (LinkedIn, Google, and higher education media outlets) to drive awareness, leads, and event participation. Build and maintain a content calendar that supports sales, product launches, and thought leadership. Communications & Public Relations Draft press releases, case studies, newsletters, blog posts, and executive communications. Support CEO and executive team with high-stakes messaging (partner announcements, conferences, philanthropic updates). Manage media relations and speaking opportunities. Content Creation & Capture Capture event photos, short-form videos, and testimonials at conferences, institutional visits, and co-design sessions. Edit content for use on social media, digital campaigns, and partner updates. Work with external vendors for higher-production video, design, or PR needs. Event & Partner Support Coordinate marketing presence at conferences, summits, and client events. Travel (up to 25%) for events, partner visits, and on-site content capture. Support development of partner support materials and sales enablement collateral. Analytics & Reporting Track and report on campaign performance, media mentions, and engagement metrics. Provide insights to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI. Qualifications
Required 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related roles. Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Experience managing paid digital advertising campaigns (e.g., LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, or similar). Experience with digital marketing and analytics platforms (e.g., Vista Social, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, or similar). Proficiency with design and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar). Experience managing and updating content on CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress). Ability to travel up to 25%. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (preferred but not required). Background in higher education, EdTech, or SaaS marketing. Additional Information
