Financial Reporting Manager

Responsibilities Manage the preparation and filing of all SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, etc.), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. Coordinate quarterly and annual close processes to support external reporting deadlines. Draft and review financial statement disclosures, MD&A, and footnotes. Research and document technical accounting issues, including new pronouncements and complex transactions. Partner with internal stakeholders (Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Investor Relations) to gather information and support reporting requirements. Liaise with external auditors and manage audit requests related to financial reporting. Develop and maintain internal controls over financial reporting (SOX compliance). Drive process improvements in reporting efficiency, accuracy, and use of technology/tools. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members within the reporting function. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred. 6–8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including Big 4/public accounting and/or corporate SEC reporting experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX compliance. Experience with financial reporting systems and tools (e.g., Workiva, Hyperion, Oracle, SAP). Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong technical accounting skills and ability to analyze complex issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence senior leadership.
