Join Our Dynamic Distribution Warehouse Team!
Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual looking to make a significant impact in a thriving distribution warehouse? We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist.
The Inventory Control Specialist manages and maintains accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient stock levels, conducting regular counts, and implementing procedures to optimize inventory control and recordkeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular physical counts and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory data through cycle counting product, investigating returns, identifying mislabeled products, and processing product returns.
Enter inventory adjustments as needed (e.g., for write-offs, returns, or physical counts).
Investigate count discrepancies and work with Operations team to resolve and correct records and processes.
Inspect inventory for damage or defects.
May be involved in shipping and receiving processes.
Train as a back-up to the Receiving Clerk by learning the receiving process, scheduling deliveries to the warehouse, reviewing and submitting paperwork.
Requirements:
Excellent Communication skill
Strong computer skills
Experience with inventory management in a warehouse setting
Strong basic math skills
Microsoft suite and strong analytical skills
Excel and Google sheets experience
AS400 experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently
