Director of Engineering
to lead its Engineering team. In this role, youll ensure the property remains in peak conditionoverseeing daily repairs, preventative maintenance, and long-term projects across 746 guest rooms, a luxury spa and salon, two championship golf courses, a ski hill, multiple dining venues, and more. Youll guide a skilled team, ensure compliance and safety standards, and continually improve operations to create the seamless guest experiences that set this resort apart. What Youll Do: Lead and develop a team of engineers, painters, carpenters, and administrative staff Oversee daily operations, scheduling, payroll, and performance management Maintain facilities, infrastructure, and equipmentincluding HVAC, pools, kitchens, electrical, and plumbing systems Manage capital projects, preventative maintenance programs, and the Waste Water Treatment Plant Collaborate with resort leadership to ensure exceptional service and minimal downtime Build strong communication with guests, contractors, vendors, and executives What Were Looking For: Proven leadership in facilities, maintenance, or engineering management within a resort, hotel, or similar environment Strong technical knowledge across building systems, equipment, and life safety standards (OSHA, MSDS, LockOut/TagOut, etc.) Ability to interpret blueprints, budgets, and procedural manuals Skilled in troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance strategies Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Birchstreet, HotSOS, and building management systems (Metasys BMS a plus) Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Perks & Benefits: Competitive salary and bonus potential-up to 115K base salary Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off and holiday schedule Discounts on accommodations, dining, spa services, and golf Professional development and career advancement opportunities Relocation assistance Work in a stunning resort setting with a strong culture of teamwork and tradition This is your opportunity to join an award-winning, all-seasons resort destination and play a vital role in shaping its future.
