About the Role
The organization is seeking a passionate Vice President of Advocacy who will serve as a visionary strategist in furthering the mission of supporting refugee and immigrant children. In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement advocacy strategies that align with our overarching policy goals. We are looking for a candidate with a Juris Doctor (JD) and over 10 years of senior-level advocacy experience, particularly in immigration law and policies affecting unaccompanied and separated children.
Your key responsibilities will include enhancing external representation, forging strategic relationships, and leading our advocacy team. A successful candidate will possess the ability to manage coalitions, work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, and articulate the importance of safeguarding children's rights effectively.
