Description
Under the supervisionof the PDC Supervisor and PDC Manager, the Material Processor performs a widevariety of activities related to the receipt, inspection, processing, storage,and distribution of automotive parts and accessories in accordance with MobisParts America policies and procedures. The processor's performance is trackedby KPIs and metrics, with goals and objectives focused on safety, inventoryaccuracy, productivity, and customer satisfaction. The processor must achievethese standards while maintaining safe work procedures and performing otherrelated tasks as required. The Material Processor is expected to perform allrequired tasks as needed by management and fully certified in all PIT (poweredindustrial trucks) as well as other powered equipment (Stock chaser, orderpicker, etc.) As part of the typical job duties, the material processor will beexpected to use and operate said equipment in a safe and efficient manner accordingto the training and policies of Mobis Parts America.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Competency: Solid competency in inbound, outbound, inventory operations and all other processes within the warehouse. • Backfill: Be flexible and support operations where needed. • Special Projects: Perform special project work as required at the direction of management. • PIT Certification: Certified in all powered industrial trucks (PIT) used in the warehouse, including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and stock chasers. • Powered Industrial Equipment use: Employees will regularly operate PIT/PIE in their day to day job duties. • Training Support: Serves as a veteran among material processors, providing training support and job shadowing for new processors if needed. • Process Dealer Parts Orders: Accurately process dealer parts orders with reliable quality. • Receive Incoming Shipments: Efficiently receive and inspect incoming shipments. • Process Dealer Return Parts: Handle the processing of dealer return parts. • Inventory Management: Perform inventory counts and stock rearrangements. • Safety Protocols: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. • Warehouse Tasks: Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed. • Parts Handling: Accurately receive, inspect, process, store, and ship a variety of automotive parts and accessories, meeting company standards of safety, security, and efficiency. • Productivity and Quality: Meet or exceed all minimum PDC productivity and quality objectives while always displaying professional conduct. • Merchandise Relocation: Relocate merchandise to staging and/or storage areas as directed. • Freight Inspection: Inspect freight for accuracy and/or damage. • Receiving Verification: Verify receiving tickets against packaging part numbers to ensure accuracy and report damages, shortages, discrepancies, or other out-of-line conditions. • Order Preparation: Prepare customer orders for shipment. • Order Transport: Transport orders to shipping docks or other areas as directed. • Reporting: Report any count or other out-of-line conditions to the Supervisor. • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain neat, clean, orderly, safe, and secure work and storage areas. • Housekeeping: Perform general housekeeping in assigned areas. • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and charge PIT equipment, stock chaser, and batteries as needed. • Preventative Maintenance: Perform daily preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including checking fluid levels, proper tire pressure, and cleanliness. • Versatility: Able to perform all duties and roles of Material Processors when needed or requested by management.
WORK SCHEDULE/TRAVEL 7:00AM-4:00PM Travel: Willing to travel and support other buildings as needed.
