Understand and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical requirements. Design, build, and operate scalable data architecture and modeling solutions. Stay up to date with trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge. Build and lead Palantir Foundry-based solutions (Pipeline Builder, Workshop, AIP Agent Studio, Contour, Quiver) and other Foundry tools. Manage and mentor multidisciplinary teams of analysts, engineers, and data stewards; guide client relationships and delivery across multiple domains. Define and execute data strategy for Industrials, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Utilities clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Develop data literacy programs, training, and change management to embed a data-driven culture. Translate business initiatives into prioritized use cases with measurable ROI and manage delivery. Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective data architectures in collaboration with enterprise architects and IT. Oversee cloud-based data platforms and technologies (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Hadoop) for ingestion, storage, and processing. Lead analytical model development, data pipelines, and visualizations to generate actionable insights. Engage with clients daily, participate in working sessions, and identify opportunities for additional services. Develop resource plans and budgets for engagements; manage engagement economics. Lead and mentor teams to deliver high-quality outcomes and ensure quality and risk management. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred in quantitative/technical fields; prior consulting experience or Industrials & Energy sector experience preferred. At least 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, data governance, or data strategy; experience in industrial, energy, or related sectors preferred. At least 3 years of hands-on Palantir Foundry experience (Pipeline Builder, Workshop, AIP Agent Studio, Contour, Quiver, and related tools). Deep knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, stewardship models, compliance, and policy creation. Experience designing and deploying scalable data architectures. Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, Dataiku, or similar tools. Expertise in advanced analytics, data science, and ML approaches to solve business problems. Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Azure (Data Factory, AzureML), AWS, Hadoop. Ability to lead technical delivery and manage small teams; strong communication and stakeholder management. Mentoring mindset and passion for building high-performing data teams. Understanding of regulatory and data privacy implications in industrial or energy sectors. Valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to travel to client locations as needed. Preferred/Additional
Certifications in Palantir, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or related platforms. Experience with Data Office Organization and IT Architecture. Familiarity with Digital Fluency and Hybrid Collaboration techniques. Emotional agility to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics. Familiarity with machine learning concepts and industry trends in data engineering. Knowledge of industry best practices in data engineering.
