Overview

As a Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will be part of a team focused on sales success in a retail store. This is a full-time role with earning opportunities including base pay and commissions, designed to grow your career through training and development, and opportunities to expand your customer base and community engagement.

What you’ll be doing

• Generate retail sales by applying your passion for technology and delivering exceptional customer service to expand Verizon’s network.
• Learn and uncover customers’ needs by building connections and asking the right questions.
• Present product insights and solution recommendations to provide a complete sales solution.
• Close sales through effective communication to meet customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Develop yourself through ongoing training and improve operational skills across merchandising and inventory.
• Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending texts to current Verizon customers interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base through off-site Verizon events.

We’re hiring immediately. This role offers a base pay of $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, plus commissions up to $16,000 annually based on sales performance, with top performers potentially earning $65,000 to $73,500+ annually. Compensation varies by geography, hours, and performance.

What we’re looking for

You’ll need to have:

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience (work or military)
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule provided four weeks in advance)
• Openness to take additional shifts, typically during summer, holiday, and peak periods

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Experience in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience and customer problem solving
• Customer service experience
