HR Coordinator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an HR Coordinator with 2 years of experience in a similar position. This is a Temporary role, located in Bronx NY.

Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all types of employee leave, including FMLA, ADA, parental, personal, military, and other legally mandated or company-sponsored absences Serve as the main point of contact for staff and leadership regarding leave-related inquiries, guidelines, and updates Liaise with external vendors and insurance carriers to ensure timely and accurate handling of leave requests Accurately log and safeguard leave data within HRIS and other internal tracking platforms Ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, and local leave regulations, as well as internal company policies Communicate eligibility details, employee rights, and required actions clearly and promptly Track anticipated return-to-work dates and coordinate any necessary accommodations or phased return plans Contribute to compliance audits and generate reports related to leave activity and metrics Assist in the execution of collective bargaining agreements and union-related procedures Monitor and document grievances, disciplinary actions, and arbitration proceedings Organize and facilitate labor-related meetings, hearings, and investigative sessions Maintain organized and confidential labor relations documentation Support the development of reports and briefings for union negotiations and strategic labor discussions Partner with HR leadership and legal teams on labor issues and initiatives Draft and distribute communications and updates for union-represented employees Stay informed on labor relations trends and help implement proactive strategies Address employee questions and provide guidance on HR policies and practices Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and changes to employee status Help maintain HR compliance through audits, reporting, and policy revisions Participate in employee engagement, wellness, and training efforts Handle sensitive HR matters with discretion and professionalism Qualifications:

Proficient with Excel and HRIS/ATS Bilingual Spanish is a plus Worksite: On-Site Employment Type: Temporary Salary: $28-30/hr

Pay Details:

$28.00 to $30.00 per hour
