About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Workforce Partnerships and Institutional Advancement to serve as a strategic and visionary leader in driving partnerships, securing external funding, and expanding the institution's capacity to deliver innovative workforce and educational solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and strengthening partnerships with employers and industry leaders to align programs with workforce needs, as well as leading initiatives for apprenticeships, work-based learning, and training programs. In addition, the role involves leading the advancement strategy to expand philanthropic, corporate, and grant-based funding opportunities, and overseeing all phases of external funding development.
This executive will also be a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and institutional growth. The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Doctorate or terminal degree, and a proven track record in executive-level partnerships, capital campaigns, and major gift or grant securing. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to manage and mentor diverse teams. Experience in higher education, workforce development, or large-scale organizational leadership, and familiarity with regional, state, and federal workforce and economic development programs, are also preferred qualifications.
