This role involves maintaining and servicing dairy cooling equipment and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability in various settings, including commercial properties.
*Duties*
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration units. * Installation of milk cooling equipment. * Maintenance on refrigeration components for milk tanks and cooling systems. * Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in HVAC/R systems to ensure efficient operation. * Emergency and scheduled service for commercial refrigeration * Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to extend the lifespan of systems. * Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all service activities.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or in a similar field service role. * Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems. * Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable. * Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively and efficiently. * Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
